Les Paumes du Petit Matin also known as The Escapees and The Runaways in a 1981 film directed by Jean Rollin. A fantasy drama, it maintained the fairytale and erotic qualities of Rollins earlier films Requiem pour un Vampire, Fascination and La Nuit des Traques, but departed from his usual horror themes.

The film has received mainly a positive critical reception from online reviewers. IMDb has said the film contains truly unforgettable scenes, imbuded with all the etheral, surreal qualities of a stylish Rollin masterpiece it halso said the film is bizzare, even outlandish, but truly unforgettable.The DVD edition was releasedJanuary 2009 by Redemption Films in the UK, andMarch 2009 by Salvation Films in the US.
